Hot air station blowing components away

I am trying to remove an IC chip, but my hot air station is blowing all the tiny resistors next to it off the board!

Turn your airflow way down! You want high heat (around 380C) but low airflow (like 30%). Also, use Kapton tape to shield the surrounding tiny components.
