Forgot Windows local admin password

I don't use a Microsoft account, just a local offline account, and I completely forgot the password.

You can use the "Utilman" trick. Boot from a Windows installation USB, use command prompt to rename utilman.exe to cmd.exe, reboot, and click the accessibility icon on the lock screen to get a system-level command prompt to reset the password.
