Photoshop scratch disk full

I cannot open any images because Adobe says the scratch disk is full, but I have 20GB free on my C drive.

Photoshop creates massive temporary cache files. 20GB is not enough for large projects. Either free up more space, or go to Edit > Preferences > Scratch Disks and assign a secondary drive.
